Sri Krishna Medical College, which is located in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, is considered as one of the top institutes in the state. The medical college is affiliated to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The institute was established in 1969-70, and it is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.
Initially, Shri Krishna Medical College was started as a private institute, but in 1977, the institute was overtaken by State Government of Bihar. The college is also combined with a hospital, which has ICU, ICCU, CT Scan, bed side oxygen pipe system and other latest facilities. It admits students for its undergraduate course in the medical sciences, that is, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
