Candidates who have passed the 10+2/HSC examination, or any other equivalent examination, with science subjects (PCM) from a recognized Board/University can apply for the BE/B.Tech courses through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA) or any other national/state level test.
Post Graduate:
ME:
Graduates in relevant stream of engineering from a recognized University/College can apply for the ME courses. GATE pass outs will be preferred.
MBA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College can apply through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other national/state level management test.
MCA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College, with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, can apply through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET).

Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination/entrance test as per the norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination and as per norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu. For MBA, candidates are called for GD/PI session before finalizing the admission.
