Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College, located in Jaipur, is one of the earliest medical colleges established in Rajasthan. The college came into existence in 1947. It was named after former Maharaja of Jaipur – Sawai Man Singh. Over the decades, the college has provided some of the best and prominent doctors of the nation. The college has a distinction of being the 15th medical institution of India.
SMS Medical College is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health and Sciences, Jaipur. The medical courses offered by the college are recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). Undergraduate:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in science subjects, from a recognized board.
Post Graduate:
The aspirant should have completed MBBS with not less than 50% marks for students belonging to general category and for SC/ST candidates minimum marks should be 40%, from a recognized college or university. In addition, the candidate should have completed one year of internship.
Doctorate:
Those candidates, who have successfully completed MD and MS in the respective fields, are eligible for the admission.
