Undergraduate:
Candidates seeking admission in first year of BE/B.Tech courses should have passed the 10+2/HSC examination of the State Board of High Secondary Education, or any other equivalent examination, as approved by Anna University with 60% (OC), 55% (BC), 50% (MBC), and pass (SC/ST) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together. However, they should appear in Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE) or any state/national level test.
Post Graduate:
ME:
Graduates in relevant stream of engineering from a recognized University/College can apply for the ME courses.
MBA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College can apply through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other national/state level management test.

Selection is done on entrance test merit basis and as per rules and regulations of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination and as per norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu. For MBA, candidates are called for GD/PI session before finalizing the admission.
