Sir L.A. Shah Law College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, came into existence in 1927, under the guidance of Gujarat Law Society. The college aims to impart high standards of legal education to the aspirants in order to develop them as proficient and competent lawyers. Affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, the college is among the oldest law colleges in India. With the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi, Sir L.A. Shah Law College offers three-year undergraduate level program and two-year postgraduate program in the field of law. The institution focuses on imparting comprehensive education and encourages students to take active participation in extra curricular activities and inter-college competitions.
