Located in Darrang district of Assam, Sipajhar B.Ed. College is a prominent college of education in the region. Established in 1994, the college offers one year Bachelor of Education programme. The college initially started functioning from a temporary campus as Sipajhar B.J. Girl's High School and was shifted to its permanent building on 19th January 1998. Sipajhar B.Ed. College received the approval from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in 1999 - 2000 and later again in 2005 - 06, after the approval was withdrawn due to non fulfillment of NCTE norms. The college, affiliated to Guwahati University, has equipped itself with all the necessary facilities for its academic activities
