Situated in Gurgaon, Haryana, SGT Dental College Hospital & Research Institute is affiliated to Pt B D Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences from the academic session 2008-2009. Earlier, the college was affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. The foundation of Sri Gobind Tricentenary (SGT) Dental College Hospital & Research Institute was laid in August 2000. The institute has started its first academic session in 2002-2003. The college is managed by Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust. The institute was established with an objective of delivering qualified and skilled dental professionals. To achieve this objective, the college conducts undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree level courses in dental education.

Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination from a recognized Board with atleast 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination. Candidate must obtain passing marks in these subjects separately.
Post Graduate:
Candidate must possess Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university.

Admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained by the candidates in All India Premedical Test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Rank obtained in the Combined Premedical Test (Physics Chemistry and Biology) conducted by the State Government shall also be considered for the admissions.
Post Graduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university.
