Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as JMIT, is located in Yamuna Nagar district of Haryana. The college was founded in 1995, under the guidance of Ved Parkash Mukand Lal Educational Society. It is a self-financing, ISO 9001:2000 certified institute. JMIT is affiliated to Kurukshetra University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, to conduct several courses at various levels. The candidates must have passed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science subjects.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
The applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant technical field, from a recognized university.
MCA
The students, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent examination from a recognized university, with Mathematics as one of the main subjects at 10+2 level, are eligible.
MBA
The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, from a recognized university.

Admission is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

Selection is on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
MCA
Selection is as per the candidate’s OLET scores.
