Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women, located at Pallathur, in Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu, is an aided women’s institute. The college was established in the year 1962 to facilitate quality higher education for girl students living in and around Sivagangai district. Previously affiliated to Madras University and Madurai Kamaraj University, the college is now affiliated to Alagappa University. Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women provides several aided and self-financing undergraduate and post graduate programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties. Besides, the college offers various career-oriented courses in Communicative and Functional English.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination, or its equivalent, in Arts subjects from Tamil Nadu State Board of Education or its equivalent are eligible for the BA/B Com/BBE programmes offered here. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for B Sc courses.
Post Graduate:
Graduates in relevant subjects are eligible for MA/M Sc courses offered here.
