School of Law is a constituent unit of Shanmugha, Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA), Thanjavur. The educational institute is duly approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. School of Law Sastra University works with an objective of imparting high quality legal education as well as producing talented lawyers to serve the nation. In order to fulfill its objective, the school admits students to its undergraduate programs in the field of law, that is, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and BA, LLB, which are three and five-year programs, respectively. To maintain comfortable atmosphere for the study, School of Law provides several modern facilities to its students.
