Satyawati College is located in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. The college was established by the Government of Delhi in 1972. The college was named after the Great Freedom fighter Sister Satyawati, grand daughter of Swami Shraddhanand. Satyawati College Delhi is co-educational constituent college of University of Delhi (DU). The college imparts undergraduate level programmes in the disciplines of Arts and Commerce. It also offers postgraduate level programme in Arts stream. The college conducts all its courses as per the strict guidelines of the University. Apart from these courses, it also offers add-on and language courses at the diploma and certificate level. Satyawati College is well-equipped with modern facilities provided to its students.

The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized state/national Board.
Post Graduate:
Candidates must have cleared graduation with minimum 55% marks in aggregate, from any recognized University.

According to the norms of the University, candidates are short listed on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.
Post Graduate:
The candidates have to appear for MA Entrance Test, which is conducted by the University. However, the candidates having obtained 55% marks or more need not to appear for the entrance test.
