Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Nursing, which was established in 2005, is located in Jalandhar, Punjab. The nursing institute has been affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. Approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the institute has been recognized by Punjab Nurses Registration Council and Government of Punjab.
Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Nursing has the objective of serving the society by identifying the nursing needs of the same and contributing to the good health of the individuals, families and the society, by training nurses. The nursing institute offers a couple of courses in the field - General nursing and Midwifery (with 60 seats) and B.Sc Nursing (with 50 seats). General Nursing and Midwifery is of three and a half year's duration, whereas B. Sc Nursing course lasts for four years.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
Diploma:
For the Diploma course, the candidate needs to have done Higher Secondary Certificate Examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in science stream.

For B.Sc Nursing, the candidates are selected through Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET), conducted by the University.
Diploma:
For General Nursing and Midwifery course, the admission of the candidates is done through merit basis, which is determined by the marks obtained by them in the Entrance test, conducted by the institute.
