Sakthi College of Nursing is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Sakthi College of Nursing is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The college offers General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma course of 3½ years duration and B Sc Nursing course of 4 years duration. Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
Diploma:
Applicants passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum aggregate of 50 % from any recognized board, are eligible to apply for the course. Candidate must be of 17 years to 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission.
