SAINTGITS College of Engineering is a self-financing co-educational Christian minority institution, established by a group of academicians and philanthropic dignitaries. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other examination equivalent thereto in science stream (PCM) with minimum 70% (65% for SC / ST / Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) marks from a recognized Board / College are eligible to apply. In addition, one must appear in Engineering Entrance Test, conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala.
Post Graduate:
MBA:
Any graduate degree holders securing minimum eligibility marks (as per the norms of MG University, Kottayam) from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to appear in any national / state level management aptitude test.
MCA:
Candidates who have passed bachelor degree examination in any stream with mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. In addition, those who have studied mathematics at 10+2 level can also apply. Appearing in MCA Entrance Examination, conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala, is mandatory for all applicants.
M Tech:
Engineering graduates in the relevant stream securing minimum 60% (mere pass for SC / ST candidates) marks from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. However, they should secure good score in GATE. Non GATE qualified candidates have to appear in entrance test and interview, conducted by the concerned departments of the Institute.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Selection is made on the basis of merit obtained in entrance examination, followed by counseling and as per the norms prescribed by MG University, Kottayam and Government of Kerala.
Post Graduate:
MBA:
Candidates are short listed on the basis of entrance test merit and called for Group Discussion (GD) / Personal Interview (PI). Final selection is made on the basis of their performance in GD / PI and as per the rules and regulations of MG University, Kottayam, and Government of Kerala.
MCA:
Admission is offered on the basis of candidates’ academic qualification, followed by counseling and as per the norms prescribed by MG University, Kottayam and Government of Kerala.
M Tech:
GATE qualified Candidates are selected on the basis of marks secured in GATE, followed by counseling and as per the norms of by MG University, Kottayam and Government of Kerala. However, non-GATE candidates are selected on the basis of entrance test merit, followed by interview (conducted by concerned departments of the Institute) and as per the norms prescribed by MG University, Kottayam and Government of Kerala.
