Sacred Heart School of Nursing, located in Jalandhar (Punjab), came into existence on 15th November 1995. The college is affiliated to Punjab Nursing Registration Council (PNRC), Chandigarh and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC), Delhi. Three & half year, full-time diploma course, namely, General Nursing & Midwifery (G.N.M) is offered at undergraduate level by the institution. Sacred Heart School of Nursing is a Christian institution, which is run and managed by a registered religious and charitable trust, named, Jyothi Province of Sacred Congregation. The institution, with the intention to train aspirants as qualified and well-trained nurses, has adopted latest teaching techniques. Candidates are required to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% SC/ST candidates). In addition, the candidates must be aged between 17 years to 30 years on the date of admission.
