Rural Dental College, located in Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), was initially affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and University of Pune till it became a constituent unit of Pravara Institute of Medical Science (Deemed University). The institution has also gained the approval from Dental council of India (DCI), Ministry of Health, Government of India and Government of Maharashtra. Five years of Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree course at undergraduate level along with postgraduate degree level Master’s of Dental Surgery (MDS) course are offered by the institution. Established in 1989, Rural Dental College Ahmednagar has also gained the recognition from DCI to conduct diploma level Dental Mechanic & Dental Hygienist Course. The college is spread over a sprawling area of 120 acres of land.

Candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, are eligible. In addition, the candidate should not be less than 17 Years of age.
Post Graduate:
Candidates with BDS degree of a recognized University are eligible.
Undergraduate:
The candidate’s are selected on the basis of their performance in AICET-UG conducted by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences or by agency specified by University Grants Commission.
