Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University, with minimum aggregate marks of 55% (OC), 50% (BC), 45% (MBC), and mere pass (SC/ST) with science subjects (PCM) are eligible to apply for the BE/B.Tech courses. Students seeking admission in the second year of the BE/B.Tech courses through lateral entry scheme must pass the diploma course from the Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or equivalent educational qualification recognized by the Anna University of Technology, Chennai with the above listed minimum marks in the fifth/sixth semester.
