RMD Engineering College was established in 2001 by Sri Swaminatha Naidu Educational Trust, a registered Telugu Educational Trust. Situated at Kavaraipettai in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, the college is a minority institute offering quality education to Tamil linguistic people residing in the rural areas of Tamil Nadu. RMD Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college conducts undergraduate and post graduate programs in engineering, technology, and business administration. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 level examination, or its equivalent, and appeared in Tamil Nadu State Entrance Examination, can apply for the BE/B.Tech course.
Post Graduate:
Graduates in the relevant subjects are eligible to apply for the ME/MCA courses. Those who have graduated in any discipline can apply for the MBA course.
Undergraduate:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Tamil Nadu Entrance Test merit list and as per norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University of Technology, Chennai.
Post Graduate:
Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance examination, whichever is applicable, and as per the norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University of Technology, Chennai.
