PPIMT is affiliated to Guru Jambeshawar University of Science & Technology and the courses offered are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Govt of India. The candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology with minimum 50% marks are eligible for the B Tech courses in various branches offered here.
The students who have completed their Diploma in Engineering/Technology from State Board of Technical Education or equivalent can apply for the lateral entry into B Tech courses.

The admission of the short listed candidates to B Tech courses is made by Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS) through online off-campus counseling on the basis of merit of the students in AIEEE 2011 exam.
