Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences is situated in Kalapet, Pondicherry/Puducherry. It was established under the Madras Medical Mission, a registered Trust. Undergraduate:
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent examination in one and same attempt from an institution situated in the state of Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) and must have obtained at least 50 %. Minimum eligible age is 25 years to apply for the course.
Post Graduate:
Candidate must have passed MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) and who has obtained full registration either from MCI or any of the state council after passing final MBBS examination and has completed one year Internship.
