Pearl Academy of Fashion is one of the premier fashion designing institutes of India. The institute was set up by Little People Education Society in 1994 and is promoted by Pearl Global Limited, one of India's largest apparel groups. Pearl Academy of Fashion is the first fashion institute in India to be certified under ISO-9001: 2000. The principal partners of the institute include Nottingham Trent University (NTU) (U.K), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Amsterdam Fashion Institute, International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes and International College for Professional Photography.
In India, Pearl Academy of Fashion has centers in Delhi, Jaipur, and Chennai. Apart from the courses offered by it at the undergraduate degree level and one-year professional programmes, Pearl Academy of Fashion also conducts MA programmes, which are validated by Nottingham Trent University (NTU) (U.K). The college also conducts a three-year undergraduate regular programme in the field of design (BFD), in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
For Fashion Retail Management (FRM)
In order to get admission in FRM programme conducted by Pearl Academy of Fashion, candidates have to appear for a one-hour General Proficiency Test (GPT), in English language. Candidates who have cleared the GPT are then called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI). Both are conducted by the institute.
For Fashion Design, Textile Design, Communication Design & Jewelry Design
To get admission, candidates have to appear for a General Proficiency Test (GPT) in English language. Candidates who have cleared the GPT are then short-listed for a Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Candidates who have cleared both GPT and DAT are then called for a Situational Test and Personal Interview.
Post Graduate:
To get admission, candidates have to appear in a one-hour General Proficiency Test (MA-GPT) in English language. Those, who have appeared in AIMA-MAT in the twelve months prior to the date of the Academy’s entrance exam and had secured a minimum of 500 marks don’t have to appear in GPT. Candidates who have cleared GPT/AIMA MAT are then called for further screening, which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI).
Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in a written examination, followed by their marks in group discussion, situational test and personal interview.
