Panimalar Engineering College came into existence under the management of Jaisakthi Educational Trust in 2000 to impart quality education in science, technology, and engineering. Situated at Poonamallee in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, the college is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai, approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. Undergraduate:
General category candidates must have secured 60% marks in aggregate in 10+2 level examination, or its equivalent, with science subjects (PCM) to apply for the BE/B.Tech courses. Candidates, belonging to Backward Classes, Major Backward Classes, and SC/ST categories, should secure 55%, 50%, and just pass, respectively, to be eligible for admission. Diploma students, seeking admission in second year BE/B.Tech courses, should have secured the same percentage of marks as mentioned above in fifth and sixth semesters.
Post Graduate:
MCA:
Graduates from any discipline, with mathematics as one of the main subjects, at 10+2 level can apply for the course.
MBA:
Qualified bachelors in any discipline from any recognized University/College can apply for the course.
Undergraduate:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per norms of the government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University of Technology, Chennai.
Post Graduate:
