Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology came into existence in 1999. Located in Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), it was established by Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati and managed by Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. The institute is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar. Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology offers undergraduate level programmes in the disciplines of management and computer applications - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Apart from UG courses, the institute also imparts postgraduate level study in the same disciplines - Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology provides a number of basic amenities to its students within its sprawling campus.
