NETES Institute of Technology and Science, which is popularly known as NITS, is located in Mirza, Assam. The engineering college was established in 2009 under the management of North East Technical Society (NETES). The educational institute is affiliated to Gauhati/Guwahati University, Guwahati. NITS Mirza is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi. The institute enrolls students to its undergraduate level programme in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Engineering (BE). It is a four-year full time programme. NITS Mirza is spread over 20 acres of land and provides state-of-the-art facilities to its students.
