National Law University, also known as NLU, is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is one of the finest example of law schools in India. It came into existence with the passing of National Law University, Jodhpur Act in 1999, (Act No. 22 of 1999) enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature. The institute started functioning from July 1, 2001, with an objective of meeting the growing need of the legal profession in the global context. The single law University of the nation, converging legal knowledge with other disciplines like management, finance, economics and science. NLU Jodhpurthrough its Centre for Distance Education offers a wide range of praogrmmes at the postgraduate level. M S Insurance – Candidate must have a B E / B Tech degree from a recognized University, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% marks in aggregate for candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate.
Distance Programme
LLM – Candidate must be law graduate or LLB degree holder from a recognized University.
Master Degree Progarmme – Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
MBA – Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
Integrated:
Candidate must pass their Higher Secondary or 10+2 level of examination, from a recognized Board.
Post Graduate:
Admission is done through all India entrance test subject to the University regulations.
Doctorate:
Admission is done on the basis of National Entrance Test (NET) conducted by the University.
