Modern Education Society College of Education, located in Sangli, is among the prominent educational institution of the state. The educational college, which is affiliated to Shivaji University and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) Bhopal, started its first academic session in 1990-1991. Since its inception, the college is striving for excellence. One year of full-time undergraduate degree level course of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) is conducted by the autonomous institution. Working under the guidance and sponsorship of Modern Education Society, Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya, intends to impart comprehensive education to its students.
