Located in the University Campus, Miranda House College is a residential women’s college and is one of the most prestigious women’s college of Delhi. The college offers undergraduate and post graduate programmes in science and Humanities. Established in 1948, Miranda House College building originally designed by architect Walter George has been declared as the heritage building with several other buildings being added to the original one. With a history of more than fifty years, the college was established by the then vice chancellor, Sir Maurice Gwyer. The foundation stone of the college was laid by Lady Edwina Mountbatten on March 7, in the same year. Miranda House College shares resemblance to many other prominent regal educational institutions of the country.

Candidates should have passed the 10+2 or senior secondary exam from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other Board recognized by the Delhi University with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB).
B.El.Ed (Bachelor of elementary education)
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply, provided they have attained minimum 17 yrs of age.

Admissions to the above mentioned courses are based on the merit secured in the qualifying exam and the availability of seats. Admissions to the above mentioned courses are done strictly as per the University guidelines and norms.

Admission is centralized and done through the Faculty of Music, Delhi University.

Admission would be done on the basis of merit secured in CATE (Common Aptitude Test)

Post Graduate:
Master of Science (M.Sc)
50% of the seats in M.Sc are filled on the basis of marks secured in B.Sc (Hons) exam (no entrance test) whereas the candidates having B.Sc (pass) degree are required to appear for the entrance exam.

Admission to this course is done on the basis of merit secured in entrance exam conducted by the University. For Rest of the subjects, admissions are made on the basis of merit in qualifying exam.
