Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal was jointly established by the Government of India and Government of Madhya Pradesh, in 1960. Initially, the institute started with the name of Maulana Azad College of Technology (MACT) Bhopal. Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology has awarded with the status of 'Institute of National importance' and it has declared as a Deemed University. The institute conducts undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering. MANIT Bhopal has spread across 650-acre of land area, which consists of state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
To be eligible, the candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+ 2) or its equivalent examination.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
The candidate should have done graduation in BE/B.Tech from any recognized University or institution.
MCA
The aspirants must have passed Bachelors degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects (in 10+2 also), from any recognized University.
MBA
Graduation or its equivalent is must for the candidates to be eligible for this course. For those candidates, who are appearing for their final year exam may also apply but with a certificate to clarify that he or she have secured at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).
Doctorate:
The candidate should have cleared his or her Masters degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks, from any recognized University.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The admission for the UG courses is based on the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
Entrance Test: AIEEE Exam
Post Graduate:
M Tech
GATE is the criterion for the admission in this programme.
MCA
The admission is done on the basis of the NIMCET for the programme of the MCA.
MBA
The candidate must go through CAT exam, which is followed by group discussion and personal interview.

Doctorate:
The admission is based on the entrance test and interview conducted by the University.
