Manipal Institute of Jewellery Management (MIJM) was established in 2005 with the objective of imparting industry relevant education and advanced training in the field of Design. Built with a strong infrastructure, the institute provides well-equipped workshops with the availability of advance tools and technologies creating maximum exposure to Jewellery manufacturing industry. Conceptualized by Manipal University, MIJM initiated a unique Bachelor’s programme in Jewellery Design and Management (BBA – JDM), which is the only one of its designing (manual & using design software) and modern jewellery manufacturing techniques. The educational programmes offered here emphasize on holistic perception and critical analysis to provide advance knowledge and professionalism in the field of Jewellery Design.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates who have completed 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade, or its equivalent, with any Science/Arts/Commerce stream and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the undergraduate programme offered here. However, graduates or three years Diploma holders in Engineering/Jewellery Management with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the lateral entry into BBA in Jewellery Design and Management.
