The candidate should have passed 10+2 Science or its equivalent examination from a recognized institute with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of study.
For Lateral entry the candidates, who have passed diploma in related subjects with 60% marks are eligible.

The candidate must have passed his/her graduation in related field, from a recognized university.

Admissions are done on the basis of merit in Orissa Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Admissions to second year of B Tech are done on the basis of scores obtained in J.E.E conducted separately for lateral entry.
