For B.Sc :
Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
For Post Basic B.Sc:
Candidates should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (Biology) as optional subjects and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from any institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh / Nursing Council of India. Candidates should have completed 21 years and should not be more than 45 years of age as on 31-12-2009. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years applicants and they should have completed 2 years of service as a Staff Nurse.
Post Graduate:
Candidates should have passed B.Sc (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and in respect of SC/ ST Candidates 50%, from any University / Institution recognized or established under any State or Central Act/ Indian Nursing Council, The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration council and have 1 year experience. Candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission, is relaxed by 3 years in case of SC and ST candidates.
