Lord Venkateshwara Engineering College, incepted in 2001, is managed and controlled by Sree Venkateshwara Technical Educational Trust. The college is spread across green and luxuriant land at Puliambakkam, in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and conducts undergraduate courses under the affiliation of Anna University of Technology, Chennai. LVEC offers programs in engineering, business administration, and computer application. Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized Board/University, with minimum aggregate marks of 55% (OC), 50% (BC), 45% (MBC), and mere pass (SC/ST) with science subjects (PCM), are eligible to apply for the BE/B.Tech courses. However, they should qualify in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA). Those seeking admission under lateral entry scheme should have passed the diploma course from the Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu, or any equivalent educational qualification recognized by the Anna University of Technology, Chennai, with the same aggregate marks as stated above in the fifth/sixth semesters.
Post Graduate:
Graduates or final year students of graduation can apply for the MBA program through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other test accepted by Anna University of Technology, Chennai. Those who have passed graduation in science stream can apply for the MCA course.
Undergraduate:
Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination according to the rules and regulation prescribed by Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Admission is offered to selected candidates on TANCET score basis and as per the norms set by the competent authority.
