Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering, which is located in Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), was established in 1994. It is managed and run by Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sansthan, which is a Society. Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.
Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering is affiliated to the Mumbai University, Mumbai. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering, that is, Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Master of Engineering (ME). Along with these courses, the college also offers postgraduate level programme in the field of computer applications - Master of Computer Applications (MCA). It has also proposed for the doctorate level programme in the field of engineering. Undergraduate:
Candidates should have passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra state Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and obtained minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backwards class categories belonging to Maharashtra State Only).
Direct admission to second year is available for first class diploma holders from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) or any other recognized diploma equivalent to the diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with English as the medium of instruction at the diploma level.
Post Graduate:

The candidates should have passed graduation in the relevant stream, from any recognized University.
MCA
Candidates must have passed bachelor's level of examination along with Mathematics up to 10+2 level.
Undergraduate:
Admissions are done through MHT-CET and AIEEE. 85% seats by CET and 15% seats of total intake are filled by AIEEE.
Entrance Test: MHT CET, AIEEE Exam
Post Graduate:
GATE qualifiers are preferred. Incase of Non-GATE qualifiers, candidates are selected after considering their merit in entrance test, personal interview and group discussion. Some seats are filled by the management committee at institute level.
