Lady Hardinge Medical College (also known as LHMC New Delhi) was started in 1916 under the aegis of Lady Hardinge, wife of then viceroy of India - Charles Hardinge. Located in Delhi, it is counted among one of the prestigious medical colleges in India. Initially, the medical college was affiliated to Punjab University but since 1950, it is affiliated to University of Delhi. LHMC New Delhi is attached with two hospitals, that is, Smt Sucheta Kriplani Hospital for Women and Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital. The educational institute admits students to its undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in the field of medical science. Apart from these courses, the college also offers diploma program at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Undergraduate:
The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from any recognized state/national Board.
