The candidate should have passed 10+2 from CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics as major subjects and one out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology as an optional subject of study.
For Lateral entry those who have passed diploma of 3 years with 60% marks from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Orissa or equivalent in Engineering are eligible.
Post Graduate:
ME / M Tech
The applicants should have passed their BE/B Tech with minimum of 60% in related field from a recognized university or board.

Admissions to both, 4-year degree program as well as Lateral Entry is done on the merit basis of Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Orissa, followed by the counseling.
