Kirori Mal College or KMC, located in North Campus (New Delhi), is among the leading educational institutions and one of the preferred options to pursue higher education in science, commerce and humanities in Delhi University (DU). The college was established in 1954 as a co-educational constituent institution of the University of Delhi. Various undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses are offered by the college. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, the students of the college have made some remarkable and distinctive achievements in academic, sports and cultural activities. Kirori Mal College has a rich history behind it. The college was first started as Nirmala College, by American Jesuits in the wake of Partition on Qutab Road. Owing to unavoidable circumstances, trust formed by Seth Kirori Mal took over the college and shifted to its present campus on 1 February 1954.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
B.A. (Programmes) / B.Sc. (Programmes)/B. Com (Pass)
Candidates are required to pass 10+2 or equivalent exam from CBSE Board or any other examination consider equivalent thereto by University of Delhi with minimum of 40% in aggregate.
B.A. (Honours) / B. Com. (Honours) /B. Sc (Honours) Mathematics/statistics
Candidates with pass in 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks in any of the examinations recognized by the University of Delhi are eligible. However, for B.A. (Hons) Mathematics, minimum 50% marks in Mathematics are required in addition. Similarly, for B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics, the candidate should have individually passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects of study along with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics.
B.Sc. (Honours)
Candidates are required to pass 10+2 or equivalent examinations from CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Delhi University in science stream. For B.Sc. (Hons) Botany / Zoology, candidates with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at 10+2 level are eligible and for B.Sc. (Hons) Physics /Chemistry, 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required at 10+2 level. The candidate should also have passed in each of the subjects included in the aggregate.

Graduates in related discipline from a recognized University are eligible.
Master of Science (M. Sc)
Candidates, who have completed their B. Sc in relevant subject from any recognized University, are eligible.

Admissions are based on the candidate’s scores in qualifying examinations.
Post Graduate:
Master of Arts (MA)
Scores of M.A Entrance Exam are considered for admission. For every discipline entrance exam is conducted by their respective department of Delhi University. For M. A English, scores of the candidates in DU MA Entrance Test conducted by the Department of English, Delhi University are considered.
Master of Science (M. Sc)
Admissions to 50% seats are done on the merit basis, while for rest of the 50% seats scores of DU M. Sc Entrance Exam, conducted by Delhi University.
