KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences is located in Belgaum, a district in the state of Karnataka. Incepted in 1985, the college is a constituent part of K L E Society. BDS and MDS courses offered by the college have been affiliated to KLE University, since 2006. Prior to 2006, the batches were recognized and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Currently, KLES Dental College conducts courses in dentistry, which have been approved by Dental Council of India (DCI). The apex body gave the approval for BDS, way back in 1989. KLES Dental College is spread over 113 acres of land. It has state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities for its students, so that they can learn as well as take good care of patients, in a very conducive atmosphere.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The aspirants must have passed the second year P.U.C. Examination held by the P.U.C. Board, Karnataka State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent by KLE University to be eligible for this program.
Diploma:
To be eligible, the candidate must have completed in PUC second or equivalent exam with at least 40% marks (35% for SC/ST) in optional subjects under Science stream.
Post Graduate:
To apply for post graduate medical degree, the aspirant should be a graduate in BDS, from a recognized college or university.
Certificate Courses
Those who have done BDS or MDS as recognized by the DCI, are eligible to apply.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The candidates for BDS are selected on the basis of marks obtained by them in the qualifying entrance test.
Post Graduate:
Admission is based on the candidate’s rank in the COMED - K.

The admission is on the basis of the written admission test, conducted by the college or the university.
