Kingston Engineering College (KEC) is a self-financing co-educational institute, founded by Durai Murugal Educational Trust (DMET) in 2008. The college is situated at an aesthetic and sprawling campus in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. The college conducts undergraduate and post graduate programs in engineering and business administration under the affiliation of Anna University of Technology. KEC is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Candidates who have passed 10+2, or its equivalent, with science subjects PCM from any recognized board/university with minimum of 50% (Open Category), 45% (Backward Class), and 40% (Major Backward Class) aggregate marks and Pass (SC/ST) can apply through Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination (TNPCEE). Diploma students having aggregate marks as mentioned above in fifth/sixth semester of diploma can apply for direct admission in second year of B.E/B.Tech courses through lateral entry scheme.
Post Graduate:
Graduates in any discipline from any recognized university/college can apply for the MBA course.
Undergraduate:
Candidates are selected on TNPCEE merit basis and as per rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University of Technology, Chennai.
Entrance Test: TNPCEE
Post Graduate:
Candidates are offered admission on the basis marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
