Undergraduate:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology each from any recognized board. For SC/St the qualifying marks should be 40% instead of 50% marks.
Post Graduate:
MD:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
MS:
Candidates must have passed M.B.B.S degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

Selection of candidates is based on the Common Entrance Test (C.E.T), conducted once a year by the Karnataka Government or COMED-K conducted by Consortium of Pvt. Medical Colleges of Karnataka.
