Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC examination, or its equivalent, from any recognized board/college, with minimum aggregate marks of 50% (OC), 45% (BC), 40% (MBC), and mere pass (SC/ST) with science subjects (PCM) are eligible to apply for the BE/B.Tech courses. However, they should qualify in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA). Candidates applying through lateral entry should have obtained the same qualifying marks as stated above in the diploma courses.
Post Graduate:
ME:
Graduate candidates in relevant stream of engineering from AICTE approved college or any other institute accepted by Anna University of Technology, Chennai are eligible to apply for the ME courses.
MBA/MCA:
Graduates or those in their final year of graduation can apply for the MBA program through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), or any other test conducted by syndicate of Anna University of Technology, Chennai. Those who have completed their studies with science subjects can apply for the MCA course.
Undergraduate:
Candidates are offered admission on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and as per the norms set by Anna University of Technology and government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying/entrance examination and as per rules and regulations of Anna University of Technology and government of Tamil Nadu.
