Kamala/Kamla Nehru College, which is also known as KNC, came into existence in 1964. It was established with the name of ‘Government College for Women’, located in Defence Colony, but later, it was changed to its present name. The educational institute is a constituent college of University of Delhi. Initially, Kamla Nehru College offered courses only in Arts discipline, but after some time, programmes in the discipline of commerce were also added by it. Currently, the college imparts undergraduate as well as postgraduate level programmes in both the disciplines of Arts and Commerce. KNC Delhi has a number of modern amenities for all round development of its students.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 level of examination or its equivalent recognized by any state/ national Board.
Post Graduate:
Graduation in relevant stream is mandatory, to be eligible for this PG programme.

The applicants are short-listed on the basis of their performances in the qualifying examination, as per the norms of the University. For B.A. (Hons) English, the candidates have to appear for DU CATE Entrance Exam conducted by the University.
