Kakojan College, situated at Kakojan, in Jorhat district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was started in the year 1967, by some academicians, to provide value based higher education for the economically backward communities of Kakojan region. Kakojan College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college is accredited with a “B” grade certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts and Science streams. Besides, the college conducts higher secondary courses in these Arts and Science subjects, along with several short-term vocational courses.

Candidates who have passed the intermediate/10+2 level examination of AHSEC/CBSE, recognized by the State Govt. of Assam, in any discipline are eligible for the BA courses offered here.
