Kanhia Lal Butail Dayanand Anglo Vadic College for girls,prominently referred to asK.L.B. D.A.V. College for Girls, is among the premier educational institutes of the state dedicated to the cause of women empowerment. The institution, located in Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), came into being in 1979. It started conducting one year of Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) course from the academic session 2005-2006. The college is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla and has gained the recognition from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
