JSS Dental College & Hospital, located in Mysore (Karnataka), started its first academic session in 1986-87. The college is spread over an area of 5 acres of land. It is affiliated to Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara University (JSS University) from 2008-09 onwards. Prior to this, the college was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, from 1996-97 and before that it was affiliated to the University of Mysore. JSS Dental College & Hospital is recognized by both the Dental Council of India and the Government of India. It aims to impart high standards of education to the aspirants. Undergraduate degree course of Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) along with Master’s of Dental Surgery (MDS) in various specializations is offered by the dental institution. With the intention to accomplish its aim, the college is fully equipped of modern facilities.

Undergraduate:
Candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together along with 50% marks in English are eligible.
Post Graduate:
The candidates are required to pass Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks.
Undergraduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of candidate’s scores in the JSS University Test.
Post Graduate:
Scores of COMED-K PGET Test are considered while making admissions.
