Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya, situated in Jorhat district of Assam, is an aided co-educational institute. The college was incepted in the year 1981, by some renowned educationists and local social workers, to facilitate value based higher education in and around Jorhat region. Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers several undergraduate courses in Arts and Science streams. Besides, the college runs higher secondary courses in these Arts and science subjects. The college also conducts post graduate courses in Arts faculty, under Distance Education Program of Dibrugarh University.
