Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat, is a renowned management institute in India. The college provides professional education to train managers for rural management of the country. IRMA is an autonomous institution incepted in 1979, at the initiative of the National Dairy Development Board and with the support of Government of India, Government of Gujarat and Swiss Development Co-operation. Institute of Rural Management is spread across 60 acres of land.
Since its establishment, IRMA has been working closely with Co-operatives, NGOs, Governments, National and International agencies. The pioneer institution has contributed a great deal in the development of India's rural sector. The autonomous institution and provides courses in the Management field, at post graduate level. All the courses offered by Institute of Rural Management are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility:
Post Graduate:
The candidate must have completed his/her 15 years (10+2+3) of education from a recognized board, with Bachelor’s degree wherein he/she should have scored minimum 50% of marks. Final year degree students can also apply.
Doctorate:
To be eligible for PhD, Doctorate or research, the candidates should have possessed PRM from IRMA. Another option is an OYP from IRMA, with one year post-diploma work experience. Post graduate students can also apply, provided they have done the course (in any discipline), from a recognized University or Institution. In this case, the minimum marks required are 55%.
At the graduation level, the applicants should have scored at least 50% marks. Candidates, who have done a five-year professional degree course in Medicine, Veterinary Science, Architecture, etc., can also apply. Applicants with a four-year professional degree courses in Engineering or Agricultural Sciences, with 60% marks and one year work experience, are also eligible for PhD/Doctorate/Research.

A written test is conducted by the institution, based on which, qualified students are called for a Group Discussion and personal interview.
Doctorate:
Admission is done on the basis of the screening of the applicants, written test and personal interview.
