Institute of Pharmacy & Technology Salipur was established in 1982. It is located on the costal belt of Orissa in the district of Cuttack. Institute of Pharmacy & Technology Salipur is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (B.P.U.T), Rourkela. To conduct course in pharmacy, the college has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The college is also recognized by the Government of Orissa. Institute of Pharmacy & Technology Salipur provides all the basic amenities to its students, within its campus.

Undergraduate:
For the admission in B.Pharm. course, a candidate should be a pass in 10+2 examination of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and one from Mathematics / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology.
For the lateral entry in B.Pharm, candidate having passed or appearing in Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 60% marks in aggregate from OSBP examination / +3 Science (CBZ) with 60% Marks in aggregate from a recognized University, is eligible. Candidates outside Orissa are not eligible for Lateral Entry.
Diploma:
A 10+2 pass candidate is eligible to apply.
Post Graduate:
A graduate (B.Pharm), from any recognized university is eligible for the admission in M. Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
A graduate (B.Pharm), from any recognized university is eligible for the admission in the M. Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality.
