Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, located in (Kerala), is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The institution is approved by Dental council of India (DCI), Government of India and Government of Kerala. Five years of undergraduate degree level Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is conducted by the dental college. Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences aims to impart high standards of education to the aspirants. In order to fulfill its aim, the dental college focuses on providing clinical experience along with theoretical knowledge to the aspirants. Working under the guidance and sponsorship of Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust, the dental institution, came into existence in 2007.
