Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM), which was established in 1953, is one of the oldest management institutes in India. It was formerly known as All India Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management. The management institute is affiliated to University of Calcutta and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management Kolkata is recognized by Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Admission Procedure:

The admission procedure is based on the Common Admission Test (CAT), which is jointly conducted with IIMs. For the MBA (evening) program, candidates are admitted through MAT entrance test followed by group discussion and personal interview.
