IFET College of Engineering, founded under the management of Indo French Educational Trust (IFET) in 1998, is situated in the midst of calm and pleasant environment at Gangarampalayam, in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates seeking admission in BE/B.Tech courses can apply through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Test (TNEA), or any other state/national level test. However, they should pass 10+2/HSC examination, or its equivalent, with minimum 50% (OC), 45% (BC), 40% (MBC), and pass (SC/ST) marks in aggregate with science subjects (PCM). Diploma students can apply for direct admission in the second year of BE/B.Tech courses through lateral entry scheme. For this, they should secure 55% (OC), 50% (BC), 45% (MBC), and pass (SC/ST) marks in aggregate in the fifth/sixth semester of diploma examination.
Post Graduate:
MBA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College can apply for the MBA program through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or any other national/state level management test.
MCA:
Graduate candidates from any University/College, with mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, can apply for the MCA course through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET).
Admission Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on TNEA merit and marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The final decision will be made according to the norms prescribed by Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu.
Post Graduate:
Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying/entrance examination and as per norms of Anna University of Technology, Chennai and government of Tamil Nadu. For MBA, candidates are called for GD/PI session before finalizing the admission.
